This is generally a Windows function. To test it, go to File Explorer and double-click a .cdr file to confirm that CorelDraw starts.

Hi David, thanks for that but it is not thecase here. I can open a .cdr file from explorer without any issues, it's only from thunderbird that I can't open them.

I've been using thunderbird for at least 10 - 11 years and this is the first time this has happened.

Are you seeing any error message? Can you right-click and open? I'm clueless on this, but there are others on this support forum who may have more insight on this.

Are you talking about files with .cdr extension?

There has been a bug created which may be effecting you.
