Is there any way, or any add-on, that allows to store a note or comment on a contact so whenever I receive an e-mail from a sender I can quickly view the note stored on that specific address?

There are a couple of add-ons:

It's also possible to edit the entire message or just the Subject:

I don't think those add-ons do what i mentioned, maybe i wasn't very clear. I want to store notes in an adress, not in an e-mail, so whenever i receive e-mail from that contact i immediately see the note.

I see, but I don't know of a simple way or an add-on that does something like this. When you receive a message from a contact that is in an address book, clicking the blue star in the Header Pane shows a window with Edit Contact, then Edit Details shows the contact Properties with Notes on the Other tab. Not a single click, but feasible.
