I was hoping/wondering if there was any possiblilty of widevine support on OpenBSD? I would contact widevine or chrome support to ask them, but I couldn't find a good place to ask, so I figured this would be a place to ask. It's my understanding that there is no compiled binary for widevine on bsd, so I was wondering if there was any plans from google/widevine to change this, and if not, if there is any workaround known?

We can't help you with this, you need to ask at a OpenBSD oriented forum as there should no more about this. If there is no supported Widevine version for OpenBSD then you are out of luck. You can also look for a Chromium release to see if that includes a working Widevine.
