Firefox opens links in the tab that's currently open instead of opening new ones
For a few days, I've been having a problem with links opening in the tab I'm currently using instead of new ones. It was random, I don't recall changing anything. I'm using Windows 10.

Note that you will have to force opening a link in a new tab (e.g. via middle-click) as the setting in Settings -> General -> Browsing only applies to links that specify a target window.
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Troubleshooting mode itself didn't work but one solution from the first link did. I renamed my prefs file to get a new one and the problem is gone. Thank you for help.
