I have had my tabs underneath the bookmare toolbar by use of a css file ever since Firefox moved them up to the top. In the latest updates of Firefox, I have now lost multiple tabs completely. I can only see them if I go into the Troubleshoot mode. I have disabled all hardware acceleration, all other add-ons, and gone to the default theme. The only plug-ins are OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. and Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.. They are set to update automatically. When I restart Firefox, it goes back to multiple tabs not appearing.

I am frustrated to the max. As a user who goes way back to Netscape (pre MS Explorer and before even Windows 3.0 days--late 1980s and on), I like being able to customize. I started using Firefox, because Netscape was discontinued, and Firefox was the most like it at that point, and MS Explorer was still pretty new. I liked being able to find things where they were, and I won't apologize for being a creature of habit. I do NOT like Edge or Chrome.

How do I get my Firefox to show all the tabs?
