How to restore old icon look for startup/blank landing page
I admit, I loathe the new Firefox look. With burning passion. I did get the tabs to look like they did previously, which helps tremendously. Unfortunately, this fix will likely be temporary.
However, my actual question is - in the landing/startup page where I can pin sites I often visit, how do I return the old nice and large icons that were actually unique at a very quick glance? The new ones are indistinct, and horribly spaced from each other. I use the normal browser, not on phone, i-anything, or any other mobile device. They don't need to be a mile apart from each other, and teeny tiny and similar on top of that.
Just... is there any option for me to swap them, even temporarily, back to how they were?

I'm trying to get the same answer. They gave me directions on dismissing the icons, and then closed the thread. They didn't answer my question. I want the icons large like they were before. It used to be a button for larger icons. I don't know why they are so defensive. Isn't it simple to give us that option? I'm not a computer programmer so i don't want to follow any of their directions for config.
I'm open to following directions, so long as it doesn't mean losing my most visited sites. As things stand, I'm visiting the sites less, which basically means less engagement. I don't understand all the choices behind these new visuals, at all.
