i cant read some site pages, amazon is sometimes affected , on top of page it says f x Acc un x, should say firefox account some amazon pages wont print. im all up to date on everything been dealing with this for awhile. havent found any answers yet

Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Across from fonts and colors, press the Advanced button. On the bottom, turn on Allow Web Sites To Choose Their Own.

Make sure you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the OS settings.

Can you attach a screenshot?


Could be a problem with the font that is used and that is corrupted.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

i did take 3 screenshots and saved them to my desktop,, funny thing when i opened them they were all just fine. strange things are always happening to me,, been told it is my MAGNETIC CHARM. i got on my other laptop and things seem to be fine. last time i tried using this pc it would not let me type any letters. i will try these other things you both told me when i feel up to ff with it ty very much, will let you all know what i find ty jodi

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
