Theme hasn't updated, but is showing up differently.

The theme I am using has never made my new tab screen show up like it's in dark mode. The new tab used to show up like it was in light mode and I don't know how to get it back. The theme I am using has not updated so I don't think it is that. I have also tried switching to some other themes and it hasn't changed it to the white new tab screen. It's hard for me to read, please help. Thank you

if these themes wont work, sugest maybe altering the options of your monitor. Its help, but is it enough for you
