I lost my Thunderbird password.I tried to recover it via Options/security/password but it did not work.What next please?

There is no Thunderbird password. You do have an account with an email provider (e.g. Gmail, or Yahoo). So you do have a password to access your account on their server using Thunderbird. All you can do is tell Thunderbird to remember your account password, so that you don't have to type it again and again. If you lost your account password check with your email provider for password recovery options.
