While browsing between Youtube and my university website, I got a strange pop up message.
As per topic title, while downloading files from my university website for class and switching back to a youtube page, I got the strange popup "Would you like to make this document your home page?" I selected no, but I would like to know if this is merely something that can happen at random with Firefox, or potential malware or the like.
Thank you.

As an addendum, I use the addons uBlock Origin, Noscript and Privacy Badger -- suspicious activity really shouldn't happen with those addons.
Is it similar to the dialog that displays if you drop the lock icon from the address bar, or a tab, or link in the page on the Home button (house icon) on the toolbar? If so, maybe it was some kind of navigation glitch. I don't think pages are allowed to trigger that dialog directly in recent years.

What do you mean by dropping the lock? Dragging it off, or...?
Yes, drag-and-drop. Dropping a URL from any source on the Home button triggers a popup in the center of the screen.
Confirmed, that triggered the dialog box with the question.
Thanks!
