Vielleicht ist das die Lösung (falls Windows installiert ist):

Auf "CHIP.de" gehen und dort den "Firefox Autoupdate Stopper" suchen. Dann checken ob der Key vorhanden ist und dann auf null setzen oder entfernen. Also Anweisungen rückwärts ausführen.
