does the new extension RegretsReporter also work for ads that are recommended for you?

hey there folks :) so I got the email about your new extension RegretsReporter...I think it's a phenomenal project so I have of course intalled the extension on chrome. I haven't found the recommendation on Youtube problematic it's more about the ads that they recommend for me (not the ones that I have to view in order to see a video). Rather the one's they display just below the video when viewing can the RegretsReporter also deal with those?

As far as I know, the project is currently intended only to report the videos that are being recommended to you by YouTube, not those shown in ads. The videos that are being recommended would be those that are located on the sidebar or home page or end screen of a video, since those are served to you by YouTube. Ads are determined more by a "highest bidder" situation (although they can also be based off of your interest or the content that you are watching).
