Firefox can no longer be started in the old version without administrator rights if an update is offered.

My parents do not have administrator rights under Win10 and could no longer start Firefox when an update was offered. Instead of starting at least the outdated Firefox version, only an update popup appears that can only be run as an administrator. How do I have to carry out the installation so that Firefox can continue to be used in the old version (until I update it)?

Isn't the Mozilla Maintenance Service installed to handle updates in the background ?
