Every time I log onto Zoom I have to download the app again-how correct this?
Zoom help tells me I have to make sure the setting for the Zoom plug-in to always be on but I don't know how to do this, or even if I have a Zoom plug-in. Thanks for any help!

Hi Bee, there are potentially a lot of moving parts. This software is updating very frequently in recent weeks, so downloads may be hard to avoid, but perhaps this method will be easier. Note that I use Zoom on Windows only so far, so I can't say for certain this will help on Mac.
(A) Install Zoom Client App
The download can be found here: https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting
Instructions are here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203020795-How-To-Install-on-Mac
Before your meeting, start the Zoom Client App and log in to your account.
Note: if you want a fun background, this is where you configure that. But now, back to reality.
(B) Before using a meeting link, log in to Zoom in Firefox
This gives you a better chance of getting a zoommtg: link instead of a new download. The first time Firefox is confronted with this novel kind of link, it should show this dialog:
Click Open link to pass the meeting info to the Zoom client software so you don't have to download anything.
