My issues is e-mails are not arriving timely.

I found this thread, and have verified that the Thunderbird settings are set correctly. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1275286. A call to Spectrum support verified that test e-mails are arriving on the server, and those show up in Thunderbird quickly. The issue is outside e-mails show up hours, sometimes the next day, after the time indicated that they said they were sent. That is, they will be received, then show up further back in the list according to the time they were sent. Spectrum insists that this is a Thunderbird issue, and their server is not to blame. Any ideas? Thanks

When do they get to the spectrum server. If it is not their error, perhaps they can substantiate that with some facts.

It is well known to the Thunderbird community that their server is badly behaving, but it's known incorrect configurations should not cause what you are suggesting.

Thanks again for your quick reply and offer to help. This was just a "casual" observation that I haven't actually spent much time investigating. From all of the opinion offered here, I tend to agree with you and point my finger at Spectrum. This is an anomaly that I can just live with, as I still receive my e-mails. Maybe some day, things will change there and our service will improve. Thanks again Matt.
