Deleted all browisng history, everything. I had saved logins that were deleted with it. Is there a way to get my saved logins back?

I deleted everything from my browsing history, and forgot that saved logins and such would be deleted as well. Is there any way to get these back, to recover them?

Hi garrett101234, using the Clear Recent History feature to remove "Everything" doesn't removed saved logins. However, it does -- unless you unchecked the box in the Details panel -- remove cookies. Any site where you were staying logged in using a cookie will require you to log in again.

Is your Saved Logins list empty now? You can call that up from the main menu now:

"3-bar" menu button > Logins and Passwords

If your Saved Logins list has become empty, then there must be some other explanation. That could be:

  • file was locked or became corrupted
  • Firefox created a new profile (you would notice lots of other changes)

Did this occur simultaneously with installing the Firefox 70 update?
