It takes multiple attempts to get the drop down of my bookmarks. Usually what happens is the drop down is visible for a fraction of a second & vanishes. Usually takes 2/3 tries. Any help appreciated.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi canyonlight3142, that sounds very annoying.

Just to confirm, it sounds as though you are using the optional Bookmarks Menu button:

You may have noticed that the little drop-menus close if you press the Esc key or click in the document or address bar. So there are many possible reasons the menu might close. Hopefully FredMcD's suggestion will enable us to rule out (or focus on) extensions.

For some reason it seems to be working OK. I am using the Bookmarks Menu button. If it gives me problems in the future I'll try your suggestion to use Safe Mode. Thanks.
