Are you using Mac beta?
I suspect you have the same problem as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1265998

Sounds like I need to wait for the next Mac beta build. Thank you!
You can try the current Firefox 69 beta with a new profile.
Unfortunately I can't create a new profile - profile manager crashes, too.
The point is to install the 69.0b13 beta and create a new profile with this version to see if that works.
Did you download and install the beta version?
If the beta version crashes as well then you start the Profile Manager then you can uninstall this version (drag to the Trash).
Thank you, yes, I did download and install the beta version. It crashes as well, and I can't get far with the Profile Manager.
Thanks for reporting on the outcome. Some issues were fixed in the beta version, but your isn't, so you will have to wait until Apple releases the next beta.
