"Forget about this site" doesn't delete cookies

Posted

Hi,

I have a new computer, on which I have installed the last version of Firefox. When I use right click in history, then "forget about this website", it deletes the entry in history, but not the cookies of the website. I already tried to delete the "prefs.js" of the profile, but no success.

Thanks for your help !

The prefs.js file doesn't store cookies. Cookies are stored in cookies.sqlite in the profile folder.

This should be working.

You aren't using Private Browsing mode?

Can you give more detail about what cookies this is about? For cookies and other types of storage, see:
