Why is Moz not posting hourly status updates regarding ongoing addons fiasco?

Does Mozilla have ANYONE with an enterprise IT background? At large banks, healthcare and other organizations I've worked for there would be a management led conference call with hourly public updates on matters a fraction of the devastating impact of this certificate problem. Should be a flash traffic message at mozilla.org.

Why has someone in management not made the decision to post a hotfix that works? The "studies" solution is just unacceptable. I sincerely hope some management heads roll over this.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and encourage you to sit tight – an update is coming to you sometime soon via a deployed hotfix or a dot release. We’ll continue to provide updates on our blog post https://mzl.la/2LwSZrk

Am I suppose to have a warm-fuzzy with that kind of attention?

BTW, No problem with you guys that are doing the work--it's the totally incompetent management that is running the response here.

There probably are engineering work sites where you can monitor testing and build of Firefox 66.0.4, but I have no idea where that would be.

There was a Bug-A-Boo with a Certificate Expiration Date dealing with the Add-ons. There's a new FF Version with the main Fix, 66.0.4.

Mozilla Blog Post Update:
A Firefox release has been pushed — version 66.0.4 on Desktop and Android, and version 60.6.2 for ESR. This release repairs the certificate chain to re-enable web extensions, themes, search engines, and language packs that had been disabled (Bug 1549061).
There are remaining issues that we are actively working to resolve, but we wanted to get this fix out before Monday to lessen the impact of disabled add-ons before the start of the week. More information about the remaining issues can be found by clicking on the links to the release notes above.

We 'incompetent management' are everyday FireFox users. Mozilla normally is not here answering questions/problems.
