Why can't I change the new tab settings to what I want?
You stupid browser has taken away my new tab settings and now I can't restore them. None of your tips or advice work.
All the internet info says the available fix works. You make it too hard to use your browser.

Hi TOOR1663, thank you for sharing your add-ons list. It shows that New Tab Override is disabled. This could be related to a severe add-on problem that hit about 18 hours ago. Your Firefox should receive a patch that re-enables extensions automatically, but please check this article to see whether you need to change a setting:
