Can't find master password; someone called my home, but message garbled. can mozilla email me?
Can't find the master password to delete it. The passwords I have stored in my gmail, do not work. When I try to delete I keep getting error messages and then Someone from Mozilla left me a message on my telephone answer machine to tell me there was error in download, but caller could not be understood. Can someone from Mozilla send me an email, so I can get an answer to this. Would love to start using Thunderbird again.

Why do you want to delete it? Do you understand what the master password does in the first place? Did you ever set a master password?

This was almost certainly a scam. You wouldn't get a phone call from Mozilla.
