where did all the icons go for font size, print, bold, etc? when i use google chrome as browser they are there at bottom of email but with mozilla they have GON
Have used chrome for ages as browser. no probs with emails and the icons. then chrome got really slow. now i am using mozilla as browser and the dang icons have ALL disappeared; print, font size, attach etc. where the heck did they go to?!! aargh.....

Hi, do not know what you are looking for. Print from the 3Bar Menu brings up Print Preview which can print from.
You can mouse to the top of the browser and Right Click and turn on the Menu Bar and under File you have 3 options for printing there.
Or you can review some of these to see if any fits your needs :

what do you mean 'mouse to the top of the browser'? where exactly? the font in my emails has suddenly become really small and i cannot find the tool bar or menu bar with tools, whatever you call it. mostly what i want is the font size increased and bold and attach AND italic options and stuff like that. when i use google chrome its fine, just with this dang firefox. also suddenly the font in my messages has become impossibly small. thanks biddy mccolville.

and what exactly do you mean by the three bar menu? i cant get into any menu bar!

Is this on your email page only ?
Try pressing the + key on your keyboard several times, whilst holding the Ctrl key ....
However, that will merely increase the font. As for the icons (print, font size, etc.) :
Those icons are a downloadable font.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => General : Fonts & Colors => Advanced: check 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above'
You can also check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled on the about:config page and make sure that its value is set to true :
Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked)
The 3-bar menu :
Do you see those three horizontal lines in the upper right corner, right under the closing X ? That's Firefox's menu button, also called the '3-bar menu' or 'Hamburger menu'.
am still struggling with this, sorry, the computer language is perplexing. still have miniscule font, the side bars and everything in my emails and its driving me nuts. biddy mccolville.

was ABLE TO REMOVE TWO OF MY EMAIL ADDRESSES. BUT NOT THE LAST ONE. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW.
I AM HAVING TROUBLE SINCE I CHANGED TO FIREFOX AS BROWSER BECAUSE ALL THE LITTLE ICONS FOR ITALIC, BOLD, ATTACH, FONT SIZE ETC THAT ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF MY EMAIL COMPOSE PAGE WHEN I WRITE OR RESPOND USING GOOGLE CHROME AS BROWSER, THEY HAVE ALL DISAPPEARED.
ALSO THE FONT HAS SUDDENLY MADE ITSELF VERY TINY IN ALL MY EMAILS THAT I RECEIVE AND SEND. I CAN BARELY READ IT. NO FONT SIZE ICONS ANYWHERE. SO FRUSTRATING AND USER UNFRIENDLY! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. IS THIS COMPREHENSIBLE? BIDLET.

You already told us what the problem is, but have you tried what I suggested in my first post ?
What I really wanted to know is : what don't you understand about those suggestions ?
I explained what the '3-bar menu' is, so you should be able to check the setting that I mentioned.
Then : checking the preference on the 'about:config' page :
Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the search bar and look for the preference :
gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled
and make sure that its value is set to true
If it is not set to 'true', and you have to change it to 'true' : after you you've changed it, close and restart Firefox .
