When I logged-on to Firefox today, I discovered the announcement that there was now a new, improved version of Firefox. I signed-in and saw lots of selections of things to do with Firefox, at my option. My question remains: Do I have to go through various options to have the new Firefox, or has Firefox been upgraded automatically?

In some cases, the update takes place in 'zones' if there was a problem. Check your settings to see that the browser will update.

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.

[v56+]; Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.

Check the settings.
