Browser is too complicated to setup on the latest update and has changed all of my download settings.
I will go to Edge browser unless Firefox can restore my previous menu defaults. Update changed all of my Download settings.

What settings have changed? We can help you, but without more details it's hard to move forward.
There is no download status icon. I moved it to the toolbar, but is not showing status of the download. Update destroyed all of my menu settings so have to start over.
Ok well you know where you found the Download Icon so can I get you to go back to the 3 Bar Menu --> Customize Put your mouse up to the Download Icon and click and remove the tick for Auto-Hide. It will always be showing now.
You can Copy/Paste about:preferences#general to the Address Bar and then Enter. Go down to where it says Files and Applications. You can now say where you want to Save or put a Tick in the Box to Ask Every Time.
Ok that one was easy so, with the above URL as reference you should be able to move things around to your liking and favorite places.
Now how can we help with Menu's ? Is the Firefox Tool Bar (at the top) Are the Menu's not showing ? You can put your mouse up to any blank place at the top and Right Click and turn on the Menu Bar. If you used the Bookmark Toolbar you can turn that on there also.
So was there something else about Menu's you needed help with ?
