Customize firefox isn't working, among other problems

Your new quantum (54.0) is garbage. I tried to customize the buttons and tabs and when I click done, it doesn't actually change anything. When I download things, they aren't showing up in the download pull down menu. When I'm in private browsing the downloads show up in the regular browsing. After clicking go, or pressing enter, the browser is laggy to start loading a new page.
