what has been added in to the latest version of FF, and will it still be faster with Win 7 and XP?

I am wary of "upgrading" until I know what the implications are. I do not use W10, and while MS seem to have stopped supporting 7 I am still happy with it. Will the latest version FF Quantum really be to my benefit as I am using W7 and what extra features are there? I often find I need to disable the sneak ins.
