I keep getting pop ups that are coming from Mozilla and want to stop them. How?

As I move from one internet page to another a pop-up appears in the background that apparently is approved by Mozilla as the address contains the i symbol with a circle around it. Mozilla help does not tell how to get rid of those. They are a nuisance as they start audio while I am on another page. All my pop up controls appear to be set correctly. Help

What is in these pop-ups?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
