My bookmarks.html file contains the right bookmarks but import routine says "no files" (Win 7)

Saved an HTML bookmark file last week. Reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit Pro (clean-up job). Reinstalled Firefox. Import Bookmarks routine sees the file but when I try to import, I get the message "no files". I have the html file in three different places (experimenting) including local desktop. None of them works.

Aha... I discovered that it has actually imported the bookmarks. I was so surprised to see "no files" message that I didn't check... sorry!!
