Gmail freezes in Firefox
Just in the last few days, Gmail has begun freezing intermittently when using FF. I can fix it by reloading the tab though I and I am usually warned that some of my data might be lost. Typically I'll go to send or delete a message and Gmail won't respond to any action. I can still access all other FF tabs and they all respond normally.
I can't think of any addons I've recently added though I did update FF recently as I always do when asked. It doesn't seem to happen in IE or Chrome.
Windows 8.1
Thanks!

hi, we are tracking this issue at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1380896 - since it's also happening with older versions of firefox we think some site update by gmail has introduced this issue...
It just happened when I tried to delete an email I'd read. It originally said "loading" when I hit delete and now it says "still working". It never gets beyond that though until I reload the tab.
Hi,
We have the same (or very similar) problem. I can confirm that versions from 45 to 54 have the problem, in Windows 7 and Windows 10. In our case, the next issues show randomly:
- I sometimes get a "still working..." message on the top of the page after clicking a link. But it never finishes working. - Cannot navigate to any link label in the left on the screen - Gmail buttons in main screen (archive, delete...) and inside a mail (back, archive, delete) don't work. - If you click on the 'Send' button in a new mail the windows closes, but the mail is not sent.
In all cases, if I wait a lot of time (5-10 minutes) the action finished, but this response time is unacceptable. Also, in all cases refreshing the page with F5 or Ctrl+R solves the problem, except for a new sent mail, because if you refresh the page the mail is lost.
I will post this behavior in the bugzilla forum, for what it's worth
Thanks!
