I am able to still use my bookmarks and it goes to the saved web addresses, but I am unable to search or pull up anything new. I am using a Mac OS Sierra Version 10.12.5.

It sounds like a website issue.

Please explain the problem in detail. Where are you searching? What is doing the searching? Address box, search box, web page search . . . . . What are you searching for?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I was able to search and bring up a website. It took several minutes, but once I entered the website itself, I was able to go at a regular pace. Thank you for your help!
