firefox iphone app can no longer access phone from webpage

The firefox app on my iPhone (10.3.1) can no longer access my phone so that I can dial from a webpage. For example, if i google a business the option to "call" does nothing but the options for "directions", "share" and "website" all link to what they're supposed to.
