help  ! recently windows 10 seems to be uninstalling adblock plus from firefox 50.1.0 i have re-installed it several times and it works fine, but if i log off , or shut down, it vanishes when laptop restarts. i have checked windows store for adblocker alternatives but [interestingly] there don't appear to be any. i have a similar problem with 'click and clean' which i can install from the firefox addons, but which firefox then decides is not compatible with firefox and disables / uninstalls it am i missing something or has anyone else had the same problem and solved it any suggestions gratefully received ajmm

Hi, I see you have ABP at the moment - does it get completely removed or is it just the button (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars) - Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Extensions.

If you aren't using Windows Defender as your anti-virus, some other ones can remove add-ons, so check the options/settings.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
