Hey there, I am constantly experiencing problem with loading forum topics with huge amount of posts

>this case is "http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/69278-where-are-the-christmas-convoy-missions/#entry1527595" It happened in other topcis too but mostly I can open them without problem.

What I have tried:

safe mode without addons - not worked

opening in other browser - Edge - worked

checking for viruses by various software- nothing found My guesses are that it can be something from about:config where I edited something but not sure how to undo it without refreshing firefox (which I don't really want). Thanks for any help.

Hi

I strongly recommend that you update to the most recent Firefox to get important security and stability fixes. You can read more about how to update here.

I hope this fixes your issue, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Ah I didn't add that to the list "What I have tried"

updating firefox was the first thing I have done but it didn't help at all

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

Can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key) to see if that has effect.
