I got sucked into installing "Grammarly" on my computer. Now it will not allow me to add or amend notes to my Google Contacts until I "register" and sign my life over to Grammarly, giving them permission to fill my Inbox with even more junk. No dice.

Please tell me how to remove this garbage!

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Find the add-on and disable it.

Then contact its support site.
