Hi Ben !
Look at the the top of this website, do you see:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1140961 ?
Now, that is the URL of this website.
An URL can also start with: 'http://' or 'www'.
Anymore questions: feel free to ask !
Hi again !
Fellow-contributor FredMcD just pointed out to me that my reply to you should have been:
Look at the top of this page, do you see:

That is the URL in the address bar.
It tells you what web page you are currently looking at.
An URL can also start with: 'http://' or 'www'.
Note that the Keyboard shortcut Ctrl + L will move focus to the addressbar, and that other keyboard shorcuts will copy and paste it.Ctrl + L means hold the [Control] key and press the key [L] Use this sequence
Ctrl+L Ctrl+A Ctrl+C Ctrl+V
Using the Ctrl+V where you wish to paste the URL. You Could practice that while trying to reply to this question.
Also are you aware you can drag the icon to the desktop to make a shortcut. (I do not Think Happy112 is able to do that !!) or you can bookmark a webpage to make it easy to find
