How can I set the option in Remeber password window to "Never for this site" as default? I don't want to disable the window, just change the default option.

I normally do not want to save password for a site but for some I wish I could. But it irritates me that I usually have to click on the option to change it to "Never for this site".

You can change it back whenever you wish. The never for this site is not a once and for all decision. Just remove the exception.

Firefox will remember passwords by default. You may have disabled this feature, or told Firefox to never remember passwords for a particular site.
  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and choose Options.
  2. Select the Security panel.
  3. If it isn't already check marked, check Remember passwords for sites. #To the right of Remember passwords for sites, click the Exceptions… button.
  4. Make sure that the site you're trying to log in to isn't shown in the list.
    • If it is, select the entry and click Remove.
Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved. Now that you've configured Firefox to remember passwords, try logging in to the site again.
