File Explorer Won't load.

Whenever i open File Explorer to into my downloads it just freezes, and only when i go on download. I tried changing where downloads would save at, and have restarted Firefox twice. I was originally on chrome before this. Its why i came to Firefox to fix it originally to just see if it was my browser. I'm using Windows 10 with a UN-modified computer. At times File Explorer would load just fine and work for a period of time, but I'm fed up with having to wait at random to have to access my downloads. I can open File Explorer, but every tab won't load and it will just start to freeze up.
