I am a senior citizen, so be gentle. Self taught on computer. Lost the Firefox Home Page and wondering why that happened?

You can drag the globe/padlock at the left end of the location/address bar to the toolbar Home button to set a single page as the home page.

Just my 2 cents (I'm not really an expert):

a) close Firefox and open again? (Sometimes Firefox reopens the previous session because of a crash etc.)

b) Check the following: click on the "hamburger" icon on the top right, then on "options", then on the left on "General" (the topmost one), then around the 3rd or 4th line you'll see "When Firefox starts:" - make sure the box to its right says "Show my home page", if it doesn't - click on the box and select "Show my home page" - assuming I understood you correctly and that's what you want.

What page do you get when you start Firefox?

The built-in default home page is the about:home page.

You can check the home page setting.

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

I get a fairly blank page with a Yahoo search box on it. Not really experienced with playing around with the computer...'cause I don't want to screw things up... I saw the page that you recommended but couldn't figure out how to do that...and am leary of monkeying around with it.

Thank you, so much...I finally figured out what you meant...and got it to go back to the original Firefox Home Page. Have a great night...
