i cant make my company website open and use some of the functions. internet expolorer tells you to put it in the compatability section, wheres that in the firefox options

Firefox is W3C compliant, so if the web page follows those standards then there shouldn't be a problem with all modern browsers. If IE would require to make changes to the compatibility settings then it sounds that the pages are designed to run on older IE versions.
