EVERY TIME I try to sign in, my password is denied and I am forced to change it again and again

I needed to ask a question of the community and found my password being rejected even after repeatedly changing it -- since I had no other alternative. I received an email alert that someone had submitted an answer to the question I had somehow managed to post, but when I followed the link I was asked to sign in AGAIN and my password was rejected AGAIN. Ultimately I ended up on a page called Firefox Accounts" which lists my user name and offers choices to change passwords, image or even delete account. But there is no way to get out of this page except by signing out, and then when one signs in (as demanded) the same dead-end Firefox Accounts page is all I can get. Therefore I cannot get to the supposed answer to my issue or to the forum at all. I would much appreciate some instructions about how to just simply sign in and get to the community forums, and how to actually reach the answer that is supposedly waiting there. And any suggestions about why my password is rejected EVERY TIME I try to sign in would also be welcome. Thanks, R.
