At least some of those crashes are memory related, even though you do have memory available.

Try using Firefox in its safemode and with all plugins disabled. Does that help ?

to what end? I only use Firefox for it's supportive Add-ons and extensions. If I can't use Firefox with its full features, why I will use it at all? anyways thank you john99 for your help!

Those suggestions were intended as temporary troubleshooting steps, with the idea of finding out what is going wrong so we can try to fix it. None of the suggestions I made damage or permanently change your Firefox installation. (Unlike for instance the often recommended Reset/Refresh )

Often it is faster and easier when troubleshooting to work up from a simpler System that works than it is working down from a complicated one that Crashes

At present you have a variety of different Crash signatures. It may even turnout that you actually have a hardware fault but at least we need to narrow down the possibilities. I am not getting many clues so far with such a variable set of Crash Signatures.

Does anything else crash ? Do other browsers such as Internet Explorer work OK ? Are you running other tasks or programs in addition to Firefox when you get crashes ?

It is probably worth running a memory testing program overnight such as Memtest 86+ that should report no errors at all on healthy RAM.

The software is built in to some motherboards or is installed by some Operating Systems. Windows 8 probably comes with its own test software. I know Windows 7 & 10 do.

Try disabling that Internet Download Manager program and see if Firefox stops crashing. But I think there may be more going on based on some of your other crash reports. And John's suggestion about a deep run with Memtest is the next step.

Downloading in the background or even using webmail can increase stress. The report

is again related to memory or memory management (e.g. SnowWhite ) in Firefox.

The Signature is not a common one. The Signatures relating to top causes of Crashes show up tens of thousands of times a week your new signature only shows up a handful of times.

Try to run Firefox with nothing else that is not essential running, no gaming, downloading, mail programs etc. Please when you get chance post 2 or three more Crash IDs from Firefox in safemode, And as suggested by the-edmeister with IDMShellExt.dll disabled*.

Let's at least see if most of the Signatures are now all the same.

* Disabling .dll files

Personally do not use Windows often these days. If you rename the .dll by adding .xxx that should change the file type and disable it. This is a guide with screenshots of to how to backup and remove a .dll It may help you to look at that before trying to disable the dll

All you need to do is rename it or back it up and rename it. I do not know if in Windows 8 you can rename & disable a dll without unregistering it, but you will not do any harm trying especially if you copy the dll first.

"the-edmeister" Thank you for you help. I deleted this file IDMShellExt.dll completely from 'C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager\' folder.

"john99" I tried to run memory test using "memtest86" didn't work. so I used windows 8.1 memory diagnostic tool and the test result is no memory errors detected.

I think as my final step I will uninstall Firefox completely form my system and from the registry files and then reinstall it after preform a system clean up and restart my PC.

That is a rather drastic step but will give you a clean slate for working with Firefox, and possibly help with any Windows issues you have.

Before you completely uninstall Firefox I suggest you please make sure you copy your current working Firefox profile in case you need it again. Move the copy somewhere safe.

Remember deleting the profile for a complete uninstall and reinstall removes bookmarks, passwords & logins, and all Firefox extensions. If you leave the profile in its current location it will not be a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Less drastic steps would be in order of severity

1. Use an additional clean pofile.
   For test purposes
   • Then run from that
     In Firefox's Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode ,
     With plugins disabled
2. As above from Windows safemode { Could prevent some Windows related issues
3. Do a Firefox Refresh , and again then try safemodes and plugins disabled. (That is harder to reverse than the temporary new profile)
4. Do a clean reinstall{ Takes care of any Firefox program corruption)
   • But leave the profile. Only delete the program files.
     Then as point 1
