One of the versions is a 41.0.1 and takes up 1.78GB and the other is 43.0.4 and takes up 6.78GB. I tried uninstalling the older one and both of them disappear, as in I have to re-install Mozilla all over again...

Can anyone help me please? Thank you!

More than likely showing two versions of Firefox as being installed was a fluke in the Windows Registry.

Are both versions gone now? If so, installing Firefox again should only show one version when it is installed. And it should pickup your Profile so you won't be starting from scratch. If not, and one version still appears in Add / Remove programs, cleaning the Registry might be in order.

Hello the-edmeister! Thank you for your reply!

The second version appears after a while, no matter how many times I install and re-install the thing. I also cleaned the Registry, it didn't disappear, still there :(

Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link} Save the file. Then;

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox folders by adding .old to them.

After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner. Then run the installer. If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.
