When did the change happen? Date and time would be nice, then I would know if I made the change. Every time I go on the web I have to answer this question which is not clear and I end up with a mess on my hands. How about an exit X in the upper right hand corner? As it is the only way I can exit the web is to hold the computer's Start button in until it shuts down. I spent thirty minutes on line with a computer tech who tried to fix the problem but with no success.

Chosen solution

This does not sound like the regular Firefox behaviour.

The default Firefox homepage is about:home or about;newtab. If your homepage is something other that one of these pages, please try changing the homepage URL in the options page of Firefox.

If that does not help, can you please post a screenshot of the issue so that we can take a look at the issue? For more information on creating a screenshot, please refer to this Mozilla support article:

In searching the web for Firefox Help files I found a link that would refresh Firefox. I took a chance and it worked. Firefox is working properly and I have my home page back.
