Hi,

My firefox browser cannot load any page if there is no mouse movement - if I don't move the mouse the screen freezes. There was already a topic about that here https://support.mozilla.org/pl/questions/976293 but it was from 2013 so I'm not sure the solutions would be much of a help. I'm using Firefox 38 on Windows 7 and higher versions are not supported on my company's computer.

Is there anything I can do (except upgrading Firefox to version 41.0.2)?

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
