Since the new redesign on the ESPN's website, their scoreboard at the top of the page has never worked right for me in Firefox. I can't scroll through the scores at the top of the page. There is no arrow for me to click on. I've checked it on Edge (I use Windows 10) where it works perfectly. I also just checked it in Chrome and it doesn't work there either. My boyfriend doesn't have a problem with it at all on his computer and he also uses Firefox.

I tried rebooting Firefox in Safe mode with everything disabled and it still didn't work.

I've attached a picture of what it looks like to me and a picture of all my add-ons, just in case.

Thank you guys in advance for any help.

Hi

I have had a look at the ESPN site myself and the scoreboard along the top opens fine, with the arrows so I can scroll through various games.

Thank you for appending the list of add-ons you have installed. I do not have any of those, so you may want to look at turning off or uninstalling one or two (such as Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus) to see if that changes the behavior of the page.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

I tried rebooting FireFox into Safe Mode with everything disabled and it still didn't work. It's weird because my boyfriend uses FireFox and it works just fine on his laptop also. He has Win7, where I have Win10, I don't know if that means anything either.

It worked fine in Edge, but not in Chrome.

It's kind of a puzzle to me now, because I'm wondering what would cause that to not show up?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
