How do I restart firefox for adobe flash player download?

Everything seems to go correctly for a download, but when finished Adobe says I may have to restart my browser. In any case, it just disappears from my computer never to be seen or recorded again. Try as I may, it always turns out the same. The only thing I can think of is that I don't know how to restart Firefox. When I do, do I have to close all the windows I have open, none of them, or what? Thanks for any help

You just quit Firefox and then reopen it. Click the menu button and then click Quit.

Then you restore your session if so you please.

You should close Firefox before running the Adobe Flash installer - not restart Firefox afterwards.

You can get the latest Adobe Flash off-line installer package from here. https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html Make sure that you save somewhere that you can find it - like maybe the desktop..
