There are six tiles in new tab now. They are too big and six is too little.

Chosen solution

Zoom out using { Ctrl plus - } [that's the minus key] to see additional rows of tiles.

Many of us use New Tab Tools extension to control the rows ans columns which appear on the new tab page. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/

Hello supilot, did you have tried to upgrade your browser for the new version of Firefox? Please visit https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-versionUpdate Firefox to the latest release My updated browser ver 41.0 automatically shortens the Tabs as I open more ones. Hope that tip can help you, Regards, Jose.Freire

Hi Jose, my Firefox is 41 too. But I asked about the tiles in new tab page, not of tabs.

The default options don't seem to allow resizing yet, but if you're feeling adventurous, about:config is the place and browser.newtabpage is the thing you'll want to look for. Happy experimenting!

Did you restart your browser after making changes in about:config? Because I don't think you restarted your browser after making changes in about:config, as those settings definitely work; see attached screenshots.
