I want to change my home page but can't find "Properties" when I go to Tools. Where has it gone or can you tell me how to chnage my home page, please? Also I want my new tab page to show the last 12 web sites - it only shows 8. When I zoom out, it will show all 12 but I can't seem to keep the page at that size; please advise. Many thanks

Hi, if you are looking in the menu bar it's under Tools > Options > General. More - How to set the home page.

For the New Tab page, if you want to keep the same zoom setting when clicking on a new tab, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtab.preload and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False.

It is also possible in about:config to change the maximum number of tiles, by scrolling down to browser.newtabpage.columns (or .rows), then right click > Modify, to set a new number in 'Value.'

As an alternative, you may like to try the add-on New Tab Tools.
