Firefox stops running javascript in mid-process at random

more options

I've been comfortably developing using Firefox Internal Server for my testing, but the latest version produces random failures to continue running JavaScript – It sometimes stops in the middle of methods for code that hasn't even been changed recently and only restarting Firefox has any chance of then getting past that point in the code. I can open and run the same code in Chrome without problems so it seems clear that it's a Firefox issue.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Is there some setting I can change to resolve this?
